The cooperation in the field of culture, education and humanitarian sector is increasing. Ministries of Education of the respective countries conclude every three year a Program on Cooperation in Education.
Currently, around 1200 Mongolian students are studying in Korea through exchange program and through scholarships of the Government, universities and private sector of the Republic of Korea.
Committee on Cultural Cooperation between the Government of Mongolia and ROK was established in 2001 and its 5th meeting was held in Seoul in 2005.
There are almost 32 thousand Mongolian citizens are living and working in South Korea.
